  • Puddle Ducks Franchising Ltd (Puddle Ducks) provides baby and toddler swimming classes that teach children how to swim, be safe and have fun in water. Puddle Ducks currently have 19 franchise owners.

    Over the past 4 years the franchise model has evolved and the brand has grown from strength to strength. Puddle Ducks decided that the franchise territory criteria needed to align with the franchises development.

    The goal was to design optimised territories suitable for the current franchise model extracting more potential from the UK market.

  • Atlas Mapping started by locking down all of the awarded territories and the Postcodes allocated to them. This prevented any changes to territories belonging to existing franchise owners.

    Unique data on approximately 4,500 UK businesses with swimming pools was acquired to identify the exact locations of Puddle Ducks class opportunities.  In combination with population demographics each territory was tailored to the specific area's potential.

  • Atlas Mapping reshaped the existing unsold territories and created an extra 18 franchise territories in the UK for Puddle Ducks to award.

    All previous data and Postal cartography was updated which provided existing franchise owners with up-to-date information of their franchise territories through professionally designed maps and data sheets.
