  • Splat Cooking Network Ltd is a leading children's cookery school franchise.  Splat Cooking has been running cooking classes, parties and workshops for children and adults since 2001.

    The successful launch of their first three franchises, a desire for nationwide growth and the planned introduction of a fourth franchise owner, precipitated a requirement for a professionally designed franchise territory network.

    To cater for Splat Cooking's growth strategy, a preliminary analysis was required to design a system of equitable and balanced territories in the UK based on a minimum number of their defined target market.

  • Atlas Mapping started with the analysis of the existing three territories and the proposed fourth to understand the level of demographics within them, and established the geographic location of the target market.

    Data on infant, primary and secondary schools was used in conjunction with drive times, to ensure that franchise owners can identify the location of and reach their customers with ease.  In combination with population demographics of children of target market age, this ensured each franchise territory is tailored and optimised to maximise potential.

  • Following the specified requirements and initial assessment criteria, Atlas Mapping created 185 franchise territories in the UK for Splat Cooking to award to its franchise owners.

    Up-to-date demographics and cartography were supplied providing franchise owners with the latest information regarding their franchise territories, through professionally designed maps and data sheets.
