  • Taxi Truck Ltd operates a unique business model providing a local delivery service of items that are too large to transport by car.  Taxi Truck provides same day delivery of goods from high street stores to customers, increasing the brand perception of the retailer and boosting sales.

    As a new launch franchise, Taxi Truck wanted to start with a structured method for expansion and lay a foundation for growth.  A core part of this growth strategy was professional franchise territory mapping

    The goal was to design franchise territories suitable for a 'man and a van' franchise model that had enough commercial opportunity to grow and also had a serviceable road network.

  • Atlas Mapping and Taxi Truck agreed to focus on the local area surrounding the original business.  This ensured important discussions on the design of the franchise territoriesremained focussed to deliver the best results.

    Atlas Mapping used households as the primary demographic with a high level of priority given to communities and towns.  A suitable level of commercial opportunity was derived from the analysis of the existing Taxi Truck trade area.  Territories were expanded where necessary to include localities and towns and provide an attractive franchise opportunity. 

  • Nine franchise territories in the North West of England were created to facilitate the initial growth of the franchise concept.  Each territory created ensured a franchisee could operate and grow their Taxi Truck business.  Major cities were divided accordingly to ensure the market could be fully captured by multiple franchisees.

    Up-to-date Postcode cartography and demographic data was provided to give prospective franchisees the confidence in the Taxi Truck brand and territories on offer.
